Built in Portugal, the Douro Elegance was christened by singer and songwriter Joss Stone. It features 63 cabins, which boast some of the largest dimensions of any European river cruise, and has a capacity for 126 passengers and 36 crew members, creating an intimate onboard atmosphere.

Inspired by the region’s popular craft of hand embroidery, the interiors of the Douro Elegance are adorned with décor reflecting this artistry. Each element is enveloped in shades of green, gold, and Bordeaux, providing an elegant and comfortable ambiance aboard the ship.
