Queen Isabel
The Queen Isabel hotel ship is named after one of Portugal’s most beloved queens and was christened in 2013 by Andie MacDowell, a member of Hollywood’s acting royalty. With a maximum capacity of 118 passengers, the ship has been designed to offer an intimate, personalized, and unforgettable experience on all its Douro River cruises.
Built entirely in Portugal, the Queen Isabel stands out on the waters it travels thanks to its modernity, elegance, and advanced eco-friendly technology, proving to be a pioneer in the river cruise sector at the time of its construction.
The placement of photovoltaic panels on its deck is capable of transforming solar energy into electricity over an area of approximately 155 m2, the largest covered area on ships to date.
