Between January 12th and 16th, DouroAzul promotes another edition of its Recruitment Roadshow, an initiative aimed at bringing the company closer to local communities and creating direct contact with candidates interested in joining onboard teams.
In collaboration with several municipalities, DouroAzul will be present in different cities in Northern Portugal. The following locations are already confirmed: Guarda, Lamego, Viana do Castelo, and Vila Real. DouroAzul Open Day 2026: recruitment on board hotel ships on the Douro River
From January 20th to 23rd, DouroAzul will host the 9th edition of its Open Day, one of the largest talent acquisition events in the river cruise sector in Portugal.
During this period, two ships from the DouroAzul fleet will be open for guided tours, providing an immersive experience for students and professionals interested in learning about the operation of an international-scale river cruise company. Participants will be able to visit different areas of the ship, interact with crew members of various nationalities, and clarify questions directly with the teams.
The Open Day also stands out for offering in-person interviews and a fast selection process, allowing some candidates to begin their professional journey at DouroAzul immediately, reflecting an efficient, transparent, and talent-oriented recruitment process.
